The dead body of the 17 year old girl was recovered from a pit at Dungarpur, 3 days after she went missing from her house.

Station House Officer of Thambola Police Station Rakesh Katara said that the dead body of the minor girl was found in a pit located beside the Vivekananda Model School of Simalwara area of the district.  The deceased was identified as a resident of Charwara village of Dungarpur. The dead body was shifted to the mortuary and the relatives of the deceased were informed.

Katara said that the deceased girl was suffering from epilepsy and she was under treatment.  She went out of her house 3 days back and didn't returned back home, after which the family members first searched her on their own but when they could not trace here wherabout, they reported the matter to the police.The villagers were all in shock after the incident, however an investigation has been launched by the police.

Katara added that the dog squad was also summoned to the spot where the body was found and samples were taken from the location, for examination.

Katara said that the death is still a mystery and the investigation of the matter is still on. The postmortem of the dead body has been conducted and the body has been handed over to the relatives.The reason of death will get clear after getting the postmrtem report.
