Today on March 11, 2011, a dead body of newly born baby was found damaged by stray dogs at M.B Hospital compound.

This horrific incident came under light when some people informed police about a partially damaged body of an infant lying near the blood bank located at M.B hospital.

After police inquiry it was known that last night on 10^th march a woman named Lalita Meena delivered twin girls, out of them one was born dead and other was infected with jaundice.

Hospital officials handed the dead infant to the father Raju Meena for last rituals but Raju. Instead of observing last rights took the harsh step of throwing the dead baby near blood bank.

Police has still not arrested anybody and infant’s body is kept in the mortuary.

When UT reporter, Sayeed Ahmed reached Dr. Arun Gupta to enquire about the incident, Dr. Gupta said that “although we take care of each and every patient admitted in our hospital but still such unfortunate things occurs, to be precise about this incident, it happened last night, not today”. It seems that Dr. Gupta is himself not confirmed about when and how of the case.

This news was spread as a rumor all over the city, of a female fetus being found.
