3 men in drunk condition caused major ruckus in Bedla area on Sunday. They pelted stone on people, broke vehicle glasses, indulged in obscenity with people and also managed to escape from the scene.

3 men in drunk condition caused major ruckus in Bedla area on Sunday. They pelted stone on people, broke vehicle glasses, indulged in obscenity with people and also managed to escape from the scene.

Residents of the area said that 3 men in drunk condition were creating a lot of mischief standing outside Khan complex. After some time they took their bike in middle of the road and started stopping people and abusing them. When people objected, the 3 men hit them. They also stopped a lady going on scooty and indulging in obscenity pushed her along with her scooty on the road. When people gathered against them, the trio fled from the scene after pelting stones.

Three men then moved ahead and pelted stone on a trailer coming from opposite direction and shattered its front glass. They then continued their mayhem and stopped a sugarcane juice vendor and asked for juice. When vendor asked for money, the trio hit him with sugarcane sticks and moved on. They also ransacked a few small retail vendor stalls as they moved along.

People managed to get hold of one drunkard. He was given a good beating but managed to slip away from their grip and ran away.

Ambamata Police was informed about the incident. Police reached the spot and carried out surveillance of the entire area.
