In what can be said to have given a big relief to Aqua Party organizers, the Udaipur sessions court has granted bail to both Dushyant Periwal and Saurabh Arya today afternoon on a Rs.20,000 security amount. Periwal and Arya were arrested on 11^th July for allegedly hosting a pool party without proper permission and assaulting local journalists.

Kanchan Singh Hiran, Advocate of the party organizers confirmed saying “the bail is granted to Dushyant Periwal and Saurabh Arya by the Additional District Sessions Court-3 after depositing Rs.20,000 as security.”

The case was lodged by Manu Rao, Chief Editor of IN News, a local news channel as few reporters of IN News were allegedly attacked by Dushyant and Saurabh on 7^th July at the Royal Retreat where the party was hosted.

According to the police report, three video cameras of the reporters were also snatched by the party organizers, however later two cameras were returned back and one is still with Periwal for repair.

“Since we got our cameras, there is no dispute from our side but still if the administration wants to take any action against them, then that’s not our concern” said Manu Rao in a conversation with UT.
