An elderly man and his younger son have been arrested for the brutal murder of Laxman Dongri, the elder son, in Jhadol village, Udaipur. The shocking incident took place late on Monday night, leaving the local community in shock. 

According to police reports, 65-year-old Deva Ram Dongri allegedly called his son Laxman to his home for a meeting. The situation escalated quickly when an argument broke out between them. Deva, reportedly intoxicated, along with his other son, attacked Laxman with an axe and a stick.

As per Station House Officer Jhadol Ratan Singh the grievous attack resulted in Laxman’s death. The police were alerted when Laxman’s report was filed, leading to an immediate investigation. Authorities managed to apprehend both Deva Ram Dongri and his son from a nearby forest where they had fled.

The case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing to uncover further details surrounding the motive and circumstances of the crime. The community remains in shock as they come to terms with the tragic loss, Singh added.
