Eye witness turns hostile-Praveen Paliwal murder case

An eye witness in murder case of a property dealer turned hostile during court trial on Monday. Praveen Paliwal, a property dealer, was murdered in a readymade garment showroom three years back. He was murdered in the garment showroom at Shastri Circle on the day of Holi festival in 2015.

Eye witness in this murder case is Vijendra Singh who suddenly turned hostile during court trial. Vijendra was present in the garment showroom when the murder took place. Hailing from Rajsamand, Vijendra even asked for police protection after the trial. He said that his life is in danger and pleaded the court that he be given police protection to reach home safely. Taking this into consideration, Vijendra was sent home in police protection.

It may be noted that Praveen Paliwal had gone to the garment showroom with wife and Vijendra Singh way back in March 2015. Naresh, Sahil and some of their accomplices were present in the showroom who opened fire on Praveen. Bhupalpura police had arrested Naresh, Sahil, Dalpat Singh, Karan Singh, Kishan Khatik and Chanchal Jain in this murder case. All the accused were in Central jail and were shifted to Kota thereafter for security reasons. The accused are brought to Udaipur Court for every hearing this murder case. The next hearing is supposed to be on Wednesday, i.e. today.
