Udaipur police on Saturday raided a garment shop located at Hiran Magri area and has recovered around 182 shirts carrying fake seals and tags of branded fabric companies.  A case has been registered against the shop owner under Section 104 of the Trademark Act and Section 420 of the IPC.

Police have confiscated around 107 full sleeves and 75 half sleeve shirts of the renowned cloth brand Louise Philippe in the raid conducted at Bhagyashree Cloth Store. The raid was conducted by the Hiran Magri Police team led by DSP Jernail Singh. The team from Hiran Magri Police station got into action after registering a complain from Prahladchand Nayak, a representative of the company from Bhilwara.

Jernail Singh said that a case has been registered against the owner of the shop Sandeep Pahuja under Section 104 of the Trade Marks Act and Section 420 of the IPC.  All dubious garments have been seized and the investigations are still on.
