Four persons of a family including three children were found dead at their home in Nakola village, Kotra block, Udaipur. Initial investigations by the Police suggest it to be a mass suicide facilitated by mental stress or depression.

According to the Police, 45 year old Raysa Gamar, his 14 year old son Vajpai and two daughters Tipuri and Kinjal were found dead on Tuesday morning. Raysa and his kids were found hanging from the ceiling of their house.

SP Udaipur Vikas Sharma said that during the initial investigations it was learnt that Raysa's wife died four years back and his family was under mental stress since than. Though it is not clear yet but than too it is believed that the mental stress is the cause of suicide.

The Udaipur SP added that Raysa ran a General Store near his house for his household expenses, so financial crisis cannot be the reason of the suicide. However, the investigation of the matter is still on and things will be clear in due course.

As per the neighbours of the deceased, the family was last seen on Monday night at around 8pm. However, when no one cme out of their house on Tuesday morning, the neighbors investigated and found the house locked from inside they knocked the door.  One receiving no response from inside the house, the people informed the Police. Once informed the Kotra Police team in addition to SDM Binu Dewal, Tehsildar Manglaram Meena and Station House Officer Mandwa Uttam Singh rushed to the scene to take the stock of the situation.
