Fateh Sagar Suicide may turn out to be a Hoax

Udaipur Police from both Hathipol as well as Ambamata police stations have been unable to retrieve the supposed body of the boy who jumped into the lake today morning.

As per information from reliable sources, the boy, whose name is Shantanu Tiwari, belongs to Bhind in Madhya Pradesh. His identification was retrieved from a document found on his motorbike at Fateh Sagar today morning.

An extensive search operation was launched when police were informed that the boy had drowned in the lake at the paal end.  However the day long search did not result in any thing concrete, for if there was an actual drowning, the body would have been found till evening, as per Police.

On the other end, a call to the number of the suspect is going through and was even answered once and immediately disconnected.  The background sound at the other end indicated that the recipient was at a crowded place, probably a restaurant.  The boys family has been informed and have reached Udaipur.  As per police, it is possible that he was rescued by someone and that he disappeared to avoid arrest or interrogation, or purely out of distress or shame.

Till the boy is found, nothing concrete can be established.  It is important that the boy be found, since his mental condition could force him to attempt suicide once again... and this time it could be fatal.
