An 18-year old female nursing student committed suicide by hanging herself. The incident happened in Panerio ki Madri area.

The deceased has been identified as Sonia (18) d/o Harish Meena. As per Police information, Sonia was staying in a rented room in Panerio ki Madri. She committed suicide on Thursday night after having her dinner. Sonia, a resident of Dungarpur, hanged herself from the window with her of her dupatta.

The landlord, on receiving information about the girl, immediately rushed her to Satellite Hospital where the doctors pronounced her dead. Her body was kept in mortuary and handed over to her family after post mortem.

Police is yet to ascertain the reason behind the suicide.
