The Sukher police of Udaipur have nabbed four drug peddlers and seized 1 kilogram of cannabis, magazine containing 4 live bullets and  a Sports Utility Vehicle from their possession here on Friday.

The accused were identified as Praveen Alias Ronak Jain a resident of Ganesh Nagar University Road,Jagat Paliwal a resident of Ghanerao ki Ghati Ghnata Ghar, Shakti Singh Sisodiya a resident of Nara Khara and Anoop Giri a resident of Hnuman Mandir Dudh Talai.

The Station House Officer Sukher police station Yogendra Vyas said that he got a tipoff that few suspects are heading towards Udaipur from Nathdwara on National Highway.8  in a black colored Creta car (SUV) and are likely to have drugs and illegal weapons in their possession. Soon a road barricading was launched on the highway. When the suspected car came towards the police team and police team asked them to stop they instead of stopping there tried to escape. However after chasing the car upto few meter the police some how managed to stop the car. All the accused were taken into custody and upon thorough checking of the car the cannabis and a magazine of a pistol containing 4 live bullets in it were seized.

All the accused were booked under various sections of NDPS Act and Arms and area still under police interrogation.
