A stroll at the lake proved to be quite expensive for 2 friends. They got robbed off their expensive belongings; the only relief was that they were not physically harmed.

A boy and a girl were taking a stroll at Badi Lake on Saturday evening. Little did they expect that it would be quite an expensive stroll for them. While the 2 friends were enjoying the stroll, 3 miscreants came on a bike. They held a knife at the girl’s neck and forced them to give away all the expensive belongings they had.

Silver chain, 9000 rupees in cash which they both had were looted by the miscreants. It is just a matter of chance that neither the boy nor the girl were harmed or injured in any way. The matter was later reported to the police.

The approach road to Badi Lake is quite an isolated one and in winters, especially now when there are not enough tourists, a horrific silence prevails in this area. People need to be careful as this is a good opportunity for the robbers to target people. Police teams need to be on watch here.
