A man died today evening at the roadside near a lodging house located opposite to Ashoka Cinema due to reasons that are “unknown” till the time of publishing this news. The deceased has been identified as Bansilal Teli, a fruit seller who used to operate at the Delhi Gate area. According to police, a prescription by Dr. A.L Salvi of Aravali Hospital was found from the deceased’s pocket where it was mentioned to avoid the consumption of any spicy and oily food products and tobacco. Bansilal used to keep his fruit lorry at Hotel Shri Dev Laxmi, opposite the Ashoka Cinema every evening before going home. “He was suffering from some diseases and was feeling too weak today. He was sitting outside the hotel and asked for water. When we gave him water, his condition started deteriorating and he fell unconscious” said a person from the nearby area who knew Bansilal and chose to remain anonymous. As per the nearby people in that area, 108-Ambulance service could not respond on time and Bansilal died after few minutes on the spot.
