A 13 year old girl was allegedly abducted and raped at Bichiwara area of Dungarpur district in the Udaipur division. The abduction happened when she was heading towards her relatives house on a motorcycle. The accused intercepted the motor cycle on which she was riding along with two of her relatives and took her away into the forest and raped her, informed Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Deputy SP Dungarpur.

Sharma said that the incident occurred on 3 May but was reported to police later on Friday 5 May. In her report to the police the victim girl alleged that it was around 9pm when she along with two of her relatives was heading towards nearby Tangalwara village to attend a function. While enroute, 7 men started following them on 2motorcycles and after a few 100 meters, they intercepted their motorcycle.  As soon as the victim's motor cycle was stopped, the accused started beating up both her relatives.  The accused then forcibly took her away to the nearby Chundawara forest and where they assaulted her and raped her one by one and later left her back at the bus stand of her village the same night.

The girl somehow managed to reach home and narrated the entire incident to her parents. The matter came to light on Friday night when the parents of the victim girl reported the matter to Bichiwara Police station and lodged a complaint. The police have lodged a report against unidentified accused and a hunt has been launched. The girl was sent for the medical examination and a case has been registered under various sections of Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act (POCSO), Sharma added.

Further action will be taken depending upon the medical report however a search for the accused is under way, Sharma added.

Another incident of minor girl's rape occured at Udaipur recently where the victim was raped and killed by the accused who later chopped her body into 10 pieces in a bid to hide his crime.  Later, the 20 year old accused and his parents were arrested by the police for committing and attempting to hide the dead body after the henious crime.However the Chalan has been produced in court and everyone including wanted that the accused should be strictly punished for his act.
