A gangster has been shot dead in broad day light by a group of criminals here at Bharatpur district on Wednesday. The accused threw allegedly threw chilli powder in the eyes of the policemen before the incident.

The slain gangster was identified as Kuldeep Singh Jaghina who was earlier arrested by the police in a murder case. The incident occurred near Amboli toll plaza on Jaipur- Agra National Highway when the police was taking Kuldeep Singh to produce him in the court.

According to media reports The atmosphere of the entire Bharatpur turned tensed after the incident, however a man hunt has been launched to arrest the accused of shootout and one of the vehicle of the accused has also been recovered by the police.

The media reports suggested that the gangster Kuldeep Singh was shot dead to avenge the murder of the BJP leader Kripal Jaghina.
