Showing exemplar courage, a college girl publicly exposed a man trying to harass her. The girl posted video and photograph of the man on Facebook and the post went viral leading to Police arresting the man and registering a case against him.

The girl, Jaya Pahadiya is a student of first year in Law college and a resident in the Ambamata Police Station area. Jaya mentioned in her report given to Police that on 19-Oct she was going from her residence to her grocery shot at 1pm. It is then that the accused Shubham Panwar came on his vehicle and stopped it applying hard breaks. Jaya almost fell to the ground due to this. He again did the same thing on 20-Oct in the evening and also abused her. It is then that Jaya took a photograph of the accused and also made a video.

Jaya then went to Ambamata Police station and lodged a complaint against Shubham Panwar. She also posted a picture of her complaint on Facebook along with photograph of Shubham which then went viral. The local corporator from the area informed State Home Minister about the same. Post this, Kataria ordered Police to arrest the accused.

In her social media post, Jaya said that she was very upset on the day of Bhai Dooj. She said that though people say on social media slogans of Save the Daughter, girls are not safe here. She then talked about the entire incident and said that these incidents are a regular in their area.

Her post went viral on Social media and Jaya received a lot of support for her courage.
