Udaylal, in his report mentioned that around 7-8 years ago, Mangilal had rented his house at Rakampur on reference from ASI Savram Jat.  He had wanted to rent the house during Shanta Devi’s pregnancy, for a couple of months.  However, he alleged that Mangilal has taken illegal ownership of the house since then.

On repeated requests to vacate the house, Mangilal did not budge, and instead filed a report of molestation against Udaylal.  Finally Udaylal reported this matter to the police.  After preliminary investigations, police arrested Mangilal and then released him on bail.  Shanti Devi is absconding and the police are on the lookout for her.
