Thieves made away with gold jewelry and Rs 50,000 cash from a house in New Shanti Nagar, Hiran Magri Sector 3. A complaint has been lodged with Hiran Magri Police Station.

Ramesh Chandra informed that he had gone to Mumbai with his wife to meet their son in Mumbai. On Thursday, when their relatives reached the house, they found the gate open and house ransacked.

On being informed, Ramesh and his wife immediately rushed back to Udaipur. They found gold bangles, chain, 2 lockets and Rs 50000 missing from the house. A complaint was then lodged with Hiran Magri Police Station.

While Police has initiated investigation, they are yet to get hold of any strong evidence.
