In a sensational find, grandson on the house was found guilty of stealing 14 Tola gold ornaments from his grand mother's house. The grandson has been arrested and sent for police remand.

In a sensational find, grandson on the house was found guilty of stealing 14 Tola gold ornaments from his grand mother’s house. The grandson has been arrested and sent for police remand.

Pratapnagar police informed that a case was registered by Fatima Begum w/o Fakir Mohammed, resident of Ganesh Nagar, Paida that she had gone with her family to Ahmedabad for her husband’s treatment. While they were out, unidentfied thieves broke into their house and made away with 14 tola gold and other items.

A team from Pratapnagar Police station headed by SHO Dr Hanuwant Singh Rajpurohit first carried out the investigation by checking with past culprits and similar suspects. In parallel, team also investigated the family members and found the activities of grandson Khalid Mohammad suspicious. When Khalid was further interrogated, he broke down and accepted the crime.

Khalid had carried out the theft for getting money for his personal recreation and spending.
