A case of daylight robbery at gunpoint was registered at Bhupalpura police station today morning. Two men came on a bike and robbed a man at gunpoint of a bag full of cash.

As per the details received, today morning, two people riding a bike came near Lotus showroom situated at Bhupalpura. They threatened a man standing near his bike, outside the showroom, at gunpoint and fled away with his bag full of cash.

The victim, Lakhan Singh, works for CMS Collection Agency. Lakhan said that he had moved a small distance from his office when the accused came and fled away with bag carrying Rs 12000/- cash.

Lakhan said that the duo came on their bike and threatened him at gunpoint. They then pushed him down with his bike and fled away with the cash. Lakhan shouted to alert people around but the accused raced away on their bike.

On most days Lakhan carries much larger collection as part of his job but today luckily the collection amount was on the lower side.

A case has been registered at Bhupalpura Police Station and Inspector Chandmal is investigating the matter. Post the information, Police put up checkposts around the city but the accused are still at large. Police is also investigating the footage from CCTV camera outside Lotus showroom for evidences.
