In a case this evening, Dabok Police team seized two truck loads of illegal liquor being transported from Haryana to Gujrat.

According to the Police, on the tip off from a source – Police did a blockade and seized one truck coming via Dabok. The “truck was carryin illegal liquor, which was later counted to the total of 890 cartoons of alcohol.  The driver, Dayaram s/o Varma Ram, resident of Badmer along with the helper was arrested.

Whilst this activity was takingl, police got another tip and they nabbed another truck which was also carrying liquor on same route illegally.

Maajeet Singh s/o Atma Singh, resident of Karnal, driving the second truck was also arrested.

The police estimate the grab to be approximate worth of Rs. 50 lacs, though the final counting has to be done.

Police will reveal the actual counting and value of liquor being transported illegally by tomorrow.
