A second year student committed suicide by consuming poison at her residence in Hiran Magri. Reason for the student’s death is not yet known.

Payal Jain (d/o Lalit Jain) was a resident of Nemi Nath colony, Hiran Magri Sector 3. Payal consumer poison on Wednesday at 11:00 am when her parents had gone out. She was admitted to hospital in serious condition where she passed away during treatment.

Payal was a second year student in a girl’s college. Her parents had gone out for Paryushan when she took the step.

Hiran Magri police had the postmortem of the girl carried out. Reason for her suicide is yet to be ascertained.
