History sheeter's restaurant demolished by NHAI

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) demolished an illegally contructed restaurant at Sukher on Thursday, 4 May.  The Sri Krishna Restaurant, which, as per reports  owned by Kishan Menaria, was constructed illegally on government land owned by NHAI, near the Chirva tunnel on the Udaipur - Nathdwara National Highway #8.

According to the police, Kishan Menaria is a history-sheeter with 19 criminal cases registered against him at Sukher Police Station in Udaipur. Kishen and his brother Deepak Menaria constructed this restaurant by encroaching on government owned land.

Kishan Menaria and his brother Deepak Menaria were arrested by the Udaipur Police after they kidnapped Kishan Rebari, a resident of Sara village near Udaipur a few days ago. While the police were in pursuit of Kishen and Deepak, the duo fired on the police team and damaged a police vehicle. Eventually Kishen and Deepak were  arrested and are currently undr Judicial Custody with the Rajsamand Police.

The Udaipur Police initiated this action after receiving a complain letter from the National Highway Authority of India.
