2 history sheeters belonging to Azam gang were arrested by Hiranmagri police on Tuesday. They had local pistols and cartridges in their possession.

Hiranmagri police have arrested 2 members of the infamous Azam gang. This gang of history sheeters threaten rich people demanding ransoms by some or the other way. As per ASP Sudhir Joshi, history sheeters under Dhanmandi police station Aslam(35) aka Datla s/o Gul Mohammed resident of Kunjarwadi and Hayyad Hussain(25) aka Saddam s/o Abdul Majid resident of Mukharjee Chowk have been arrested on Tuesday. According to ASP Joshi, these 2 history sheeters have a lot of cases against them. They commit crime as soon as they are out of jail. As per an informer, Aslam was seen at Eklingpura on Tuesday. Police patrol reached the site and searched his car. Unlicensed pistol and cartridges were recovered from Aslam’s car. A short while later, police got the information that Saddam was spotted under Sevashram bridge. Police arrested him as he was also carrying unlicensed pistol and cartridges.

Aslam was arrested 8 months back, too, while he was planning a robbery. He is a very active member of Azam gang. Police recovered 13 lakh rupees from his house. Aslam and Saddam were about to attempt another robbery when police arrested them. They are related to each other and mostly plan their activities together.
