Businessmen of Udaipur became the target of an impostor who disappeared with lots of money and electronic items taken from these dealers.

In another fraud case in Udaipur, a man posed to be an entrepreneur and ran away with lots of money and electronic items which various businessmen gave him in good faith. A case of fraud has been registered against Prakashchand Suthar and his father Javerilal Suthar along with 5 others in PratapNagar police station by Alok Tank of Ajmer Diesels and Tractors and 7 other businessmen of Udaipur city.

2 years back, Prakash started his business of Electronics and electrical appliances and agricultural equipments under the name of Bandhan Sales on University road. He introduced himself as a well established businessman and did a splendid opening function of his shop displaying a lot of equipments.

He kept borrowing equipments from the leading businessmen of the city and even borrowed a lot of cash on the pretext of business dealings. Until 2 years, he even returned the borrowed amount on time and created goodwill among the businessmen. On17th April, Prakash again borrowed equipments and money from these dealers. He then disappeared informing everyone that he would be keeping the shop closed for the purpose of a wedding. On19th April, he transferred all the equipments and furniture of the shop in a truck and left leaving the shop unlocked. When he didn’t return for days on stretch, the dealers got suspicious. They went to his father to find his whereabouts, but Prakash’s father denied having any contact with him. Prakash has reportedly played fraud with a number of businessmen in Gujarat as well.

Alok Tank suffered a loss of 1.08 lakhs, Manoj Lalwani 2.42 lakhs, Prakash Malviya 1.25 lakhs, Rajkumar Kumawat 1.85 lakhs, Jagdish Dhabhai 1.70 lakhs, Gehrilal Suthar 60 thousand and Rahul 40 thousand by means of cash and kind.
