Income tax (IT) department today carried out a raid at Shri Ram Aalo Godown in Savina Vegetable Mandi. The raid caught the proprietor completely off-guard and has also sent shock-waves in the entire vendor community in the Mandi.

As per preliminary details available, the IT team carried out simultaneous raids at his house and godown in Udaipur and Kota. Team had carried out complete preparations last night and taken positions.

Additional IT Commissioner (Central Range) is leading the operation. The sudden IT raid has sent shivers down the vendor community in the region, specially the ones that had taken unfair means for tax evasion.
