The incident occurred between 2-4 a.m.

A jewellery showroom was burgled during the early hours of Wednesday. The burglars took jewellery worth 2 lakh rupees. 

The incident occurred between 2 to 4 a.m in Neha Jewellers in front of Dudhiya Ganeshji temple. As informed by Devendra, a person working in the shop, he had locked the showroom for the day on Tuesday evening. Early Wednesday morning, he received a call from the showroom owner informing him that the showroom's shutter was found open. 

When Devendra reached the site, he saw that the the shutter was lifted up and the lock was broken. The glass panels in the showroom were damaged and the gild and silver jewelley were missing. The jewellery was worth 2 lakh rupees. 

The owner said that he was awake until 2 a.m. and heard some sounds at 4 a.m. When he went to th showroom, he discovered the theft. So it is being assumed that the incident occurred between 2 to 4 a.m. No clue has been derived about the burglars since they took the DVR of the CCTV along with them. Ambamata police is trying to find clues and gather more information about the theft.
