A lady from Jodhpur today conducted suicide by hanging herself in Gangotri Guest House situated in the Surajpole area (opposite Ashoka Cinema). Though the reasons for suicide are still not known but prima facie it looks like a case of relationship.

As per the hotel owner, one Ashok Suthar from Jodhpur had checked into his hotel on 31 Mar along with this lady. The duo registered themselves as husband-wife.

The incident came to light today morning when the cleaning staff went and knocked on the door. When there was no response he tried to open the gate bu the gate was latched from inside. Suspecting something fishy, the cleaning staff looked up from the top window and found the lady hanging from the fan.

As per the information received on the ID-card deposited with the hotel, police has contact Pratap Nagar police in Jodhpur. CI Herambh Joshi informed that the duo had fled from Jodhpur. The man who had accompanied the lady has fled the scene. Police is now investigating the CCTV footage to get details about the man.
