Udaipur Police arrest key accused in Udaipur Bajrang Dal leader Murder Case

The Udaipur Police arrested Pritam (alias Bunty), the key accused in the murder of Bajrang Dal leader Rajendra Parmar in Udaipur.

Leader of Bajrang Dal in Udaipur and district convenor of the right wing Hindu outfit in Udaipur, 38 year old Parmar was shot dead at 8pm in Udaipur on 6 February 2023, at a shop in Mulla Talai area of Udaipur.  The key accused in the muder, Pritam (alias Bunty) was apprehhended by the Udaipur Police on 18 February, as per reliable sources.  The Udaipur Police will be shortly making an official announcement to this extent.

Pritam is a registered Historysheeter at the Goverdhan Vilas police station in Udaipur with more than 20 cases registered against his name.

Immediately after the murde, the Udaipur Police arrested a person named Vijay from Jaipur in relation with the murder. Another person named Prahlad, accused of helping the alleged murderers get away in his car, was then arrested by Udaipur Police from Nimbahera.

The police had been on the lookout for Pritam based on the CCTV footage and the Facebook post by Pritam, in which he had taken responsibilty for the murder and cited a property dispute as a reason behind the murder. Police recovered 6 mobiles from jail a day after the incident. After the two arrests, the police also discovered the involvement of another history sheeter from Udaipur, Dilip Nath in this murder case. Subsequent interrogations have the led the police to understand that Pritam, the key accused was told be Dilip Nath to lure Vijay from Jaipur. Pritam lured Vijay under the pretext of helping him buy a house and involved him in the murder.
