On 13^th January a youth was kidnapped and taken to Hotel Arjun Bagh. He was demanded 40 thousand rupees as ransom. The kidnappers of this youth have been released on bail by the court of ACJM-2.

The kidnappers were on a 4-day remand and were presented before court on Thursday 18^th January. Court of ACJM-2 released these 4 kidnappers on bail clarifying that no serious crime has been registered against the accused by police; hence there is no evidence to prove their crime. It was therefore considered appropriate to accept bail pleas of these people.

It is surprising that SI Netrapal Singh has mentioned earlier that a case of kidnapping was registered against these culprits. Even the case diary mentions an act of kidnap against them. The people arrested by police in this kidnapping were Mohammed Moshin from Kheradiwara, Yashpal Singh Rajput, Parikshit Sharma and Jitendra Goswami.
