One of the most shocking incident of year 2007 when Ajinder Kaur, a 58 year old woman was convicted to kill her own son Jaswinder for property dispute and having extra marital affair with a manager of her own transport company, found guilty of murdering her son, got lifetime imprisonment through fast track court of Udaipur today.

Four years back in March 2007, this cold blooded murder created a shock wave in whole city, more shocking was the way a mother killed her own son, mercilessly chopping him into pieces.

One more convict Shambu Lal Teli is also sentenced to lifetime imprisonment. Shambu Lal, with whom Ajinder was having an affair had played major role in murdering the young boy.

Ajindar (in photo) w/o Late Amarjeet Singh was having extra marital affair with Shambhu Lal Teli-Manager of her own transport company. Both planned this wicked massacre of Ajinder’s son-Jaswinder (Montu), as there was some argument related to property between both son & mother.

When Jaswinder and his sister Harpreet Kaur got a clue of an affair going on between Ajinder & Shambu Lal, manager of the company, they tried to discuss this sensitive issue with their mother and asked her to be away from Shambhu. Out of anger and frustration Jaswinder warned his mom for future consequences. Ajinder horrified by the caution dose by her son, planned to kill her own son with help of shambu lal.

On March 2, 2007 when Harpreet Kaur returned home in noon and asked her mother about Jaswinder’s whereabouts, she replied that he headed out with two of his friends after meals and his mobile would be switched off throughout the night as he is at some outskirts of the city.

When Harpreet found the bathroom locked, and tried to open it, Ajinder stopped her by saying that Jaswinder has his stuff locked inside, which made the situation doubtful. Harpreet called Jaswinder’s friends and got to know that he left for home in noon itself.

Strong protest by Ajinder for unlocking the bathroom made Harpreet lodge complain in Ambamata police station. When the door was broken by police, Jaswinder was lying dead and body was smeared in blood, the boy was stabbed hard mercilessly.

Complaint was lodged by Harpreet Kaur-daughter of Ajinder Kaur. This brutal murder took place on March 2, 2007 & Harpreet lodged complain on the very next day. The family was living in Galaxy Apartment, Bedla Road, Udaipur.

The decision was taken on the basis of few points:

1. The presence of Ajinder at the time of murder at home.

2. Jaswinder’s stabbed & blood smeared body in bathroom.

3. Few property disputes were going on between son and mother.

4. Mother’s violent protest towards daughter for unlocking the bathroom.

5. Blood spots on both culprit’s clothes.

6. Keys of bathroom were found from Shambhu Lal’s clothes.

7. Call details denoted that the maximum number of conversation was between Ajinder Kaur & Shambhu Lal.

The case was going on at Upper District & Session Magistrate- Rekha Bhargava, in fast track 1. Both culprits –Ajinder & Shambhu lal Teli are sentenced to life imprisonment with Rs. 5000 as penalty.
