Family members of the 60-year old man who committed suicide yesterday staged a protest outside Fatehpura police chowki today morning. Family members are demanding arrest of the accused because of whom the 60-year old man was forced to commit suicide.

It may be noted that Surajmal (s/o Hemraj Kumawat) committed suicide yesterday at his house in Pula area. He hanged himself with the help of a saree. In his suicide note Surajmal had accused certain land mafia members and brokers for harassing him to the extent that he had to take the extreme step.

Family members of Surajmal took a stand that they would not take his body from the mortuary till police carried out the arrest of the accused.

Police has lodged an FIR at the behest of his son Vishal. It is alleged in the report that the land mafia members and brokers had taken the entire property of his father in lieu of lending interest bearing money. They are now forcing the family members to sign agreement papers.

Police has started investigation in the matter and is expecting to come out with more revelations.
