A youth got injured in a late night firing incident in Savina area. Reportedly the youths who fired around were there to rob the office of a liquor contractor. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m.

Liquor contractor Mahendra has his office and residence in Vijay Singh Pathik nagar in Savina. The office boy Sunil returned to the office after routine cash collection. The moment he returned, 3 youths on a bike entered the office forcibly and started arguing with Sunil. One of these youths fired at Sunil with an air pistol. The gun shot went through the right hand of Sunil. Meanwhile the contractor’s nephew saw this and started shouting. His shouts made the neighbours rush to the office. Seeing the crowd coming towards the office, the youths fled from the site. Sunil was rushed to the hospital and Savina police were informed. The youths were around 25 years of age and were probably watching over since days and then chalked out a plan to attack the contractor’s office with a motive of robbery.
