Masks and hand sanitisers to be sold at printed rates only.
Licenses of 3 medical stores have been suspended. These medical stores have been found selling masks and hand sanitisers at higher rates.
On Monday, Consumer Protection team suspended the licenses of Sharad Medicals at Delhi Gate, Royal Chemist at Hospital road and Roshan medical at Dhanmandi.
DSO Jyoti Kakwani informed that these chemists were selling masks and hand sanitisers at a higher rate. The team found discrepancies in the prices of masks and sanitisers.
Cases have been registered against the medical stores under Essential Commodities Act 1955.
