A life prisoner escaped into Badi forest after giving pushing the guard escorting him and disappeared in the Badi forest area. Police has started a search operation for him but is yet to make any headway.

Police informed that Mohan s/o Ganesh Kalbeliya was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court about a month back in connection with a murder. Mohan had been suffering from TB and even on the day of his sentence, he was brought by the guard from TB hospital to court premise.

Mohan was admitted in Badi TB hospital on Saturday after his health condition deteriorated. There were four guards at different points in time with head constable Bheru Singh to keep an eye over Mohan. Mohan was given some medical check-ups by doctor yesterday morning. Mohan was being taken for the check-up by one of the guard. In the hospital premise itself, Mohan pushed the guard away and ran in to the adjoining Badi forest area.

Head Constable Bheru Singh has lodged a complaint at Ambamata Police Station in reference to the matter.
