According to people residing in Chitrakut Nagar- from the last 25 years or more; two idols placed on one plot of land were worshipped regularly by the banjaara community and that the empty land which is nearly 10,000sq.ft in area was never claimed by any owner in these 25 years but suddenly a contactor named Parbat Singh emerged and intended to take control over the land.

According to Parbat Singh, he had offered Rs.21, 000 to banjaara community to negotiate the matter but even after taking the money they turned back and arguing over the possession of this land which is not theirs.

In many local Hindu communities, each area has a specific deity who is believed to safeguard the people living in that area; these deities are often called as Rada Ji and have a strong influence in many Hindu sub casts, especially in Rajasthan.

The three idols placed on the aforesaid plot of land were dumped today by Parbat Singh and his men, alleged the locals. They also told police that Parbat Singh has harassed them many times over this issue.

The matter was brought under control when authorities intervened and excavated the land recovering all idols.

Although on other side the community plans to erect a temple on the same place, in order to safeguard their faith and believe in the deities.
