A long time absconding history sheeter most wanted by Rajasthan and Mumbai police has been arrested. Late night on Monday, a special team of police arrested Dilip Nath at Surajpole crossing.  Based on an informer’s report, Dilip Nath was in Udaipur with four of his accomplices.

Pratap Nagar CI Hanuwant Singh and Special team head Shaitan Singh followed Dilip Nath to Surajpole. Dilip Nath tried to escape towards Udiapole after hitting police jeep. He also attacked the police with a sword. CI Hanuwant Singh and other policemen received injuries.

Dilip Nath was about to open fire at the police when police surrounded him and his accomplices Rajendra Singh, Vikas, Rohit Sahu and Jugnu and arrested them. Swords, sticks, pistols and other weapons have been recovered from these culprits. A charge of hinderance has been filed against Dilip Nath.

Police were on the lookout for Dilip Nath since almost a month. As per informer, Dilip Nah was planning a big crime in Udaipur this time. He was wanted in cases of robbery and murder and many others.
