Looters ransack Shop in Bapu Bazaar

A case of theft has come to light this morning at Bapu Bazar; when owners of Tip Top multi good stores discovered that shop was wrecked. In what is considered to be a case of theft by forced entry, the owners reported that items worth Rs. 30 to 40 thousand approximately were stolen from the shop including mobile phones, a cheque book, cosmetics, etc.

In what is considered to be a case of theft by forced entry, the owners reported that items worth Rs. 30 to 40 thousand approximately were stolen from the shop including mobile phones, a cheque book, cosmetics, etc.

According to the owners of the shop, Pukhraj Solanki and Shantilal, they came to know about the incident early morning when they opened their shop as per their daily schedule.

“We opened our shop at around 10 am and we noticed holes in the wall and broken locks of the staircase door. Then we informed the police”, said Pukhraj Solanki.

They reported the instance immediately to the Surajpol Police station. A case of theft has been registered by the authorities.

Looters ransack Shop in Bapu BazaarAs per the owners of the shop, the robbers first tried to make their way in the shop by digging holes in the wall but when they could not succeed, they went up the stairs and entered the store after breaking 2 locks.

Items that were found to be missing included room fresheners, deodorants, perfumes, chocolates, 3 mobile phones, a cheque book of Union Bank, 5 rupee coins worth Rs. 4,000, a Cheque received from GBH American hospital worth Rs. 6,242, torches and some cosmetics.
