A man committed suicide yesterday by hanging himself with a dupatta after his wife went to her parent’s house.

Police informed that Brahmpol resident Dharmendra (30) was addicted to liquor. His wife had gone to her parent’s house at Kumharon ka Bhatta for last few days. Owing to this he was under a lot of mental stress. He took the extreme step on Monday morning in a drunken state.

Police reached the spot on getting the information and brought the body down. He was taken to MB hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead.

Dharmendra left behind his wife and a four year old son.
