A Tekri resident committed suicide by hanging himself. He was under severe financial distress and succumbed to the pressure.

Police informed that Tekri resident Madan s/o Dharma Gameti committed suicide by hanging himself. He was working as a driver in vehicle supplying water tanks. He had lost work and was under deep financial stress.

Madan’s wife informed that they have two daughters and a son. On Monday night, Madan came home and locked himself in a room after picking up a fight with his family. When he did not come out after a long time, his son knocked on the door. On getting no response, he broke open the door to find Madan hanging from the ceiling.

Police was informed and Madan’s body was moved to the MB Hospital mortuary. Madan’s body was handed over to family after his post mortem yesterday.
