A man and his daughter were assaulted by six men at their residence in Sec-9 Hiran Magri on Sunday night. An FIR towards the same was registered yesterday.

An FIR was lodged with the Police by Sector-9 resident Jaalam s/o Nagendra Singh. In his FIR Jaalam said that on Sunday night at around 11pm, six assailants entere his house while misbehaving with this daughter.

When Jaalam tried to protest the misbehaving with his daughter, the accused people hit him with a big stoone. On hearing his shout, Jaalam’s neighbour Yogesh Joshi came running and tried to intervene. On this, the accused people also hit him.

The accused threatened Jaalam before leaving that if he reported the matter to police then they would abduct him daughter.

Police has started investigation into the case.
