In a recent case of fraud, Balaji (in photo above) S/O Kheti Lal was deceived by a foreign entity pretending to be the owner of a known Cellular services company of the country, through a phone call.

In a recent case of fraud, Balaji (in photo above) S/O Kheti Lal was deceived by a foreign entity pretending to be the owner of a known Cellular services company of the country, through a phone call.

He got a call from, 00923043041003 informing him of a lottery of Rs. 25 Lac he had won and had to deposit Rs. 12 Thousand in the entity’s SBI account to be eligible to win the prize money.

Balaji, resident of Bhoiwada, deposited the amount, and later was contacted by the same individual and asked to deposit more cash in different bank accounts in SBI and ICICI, the total amounting to Rs. 1.15 Lac including the Rs.12 thousand he had deposited earlier.

Balaji, then in suspicion started questioning the individual, who asked him to deposit more money in his account or he wont be entitled to the lottery money and the money he has deposited so far will also be non-refundable.

The victim has not been able to contact the person since he deposited the cash and filed a memorandum to the Police Superintendent, Hari Prasad Sharma asking for some help from the police department and the administration in the fraud case.
