A man was found dead in his room in Hotel Taldar yesterday. The hotel is situated in Surajpole area.

The case came to light when yesterday morning the staff knocked on the door for service. However, the room resident, Prabhakar, did not open the door. After multiple failed attempts, the staff informed the Police.

After arrival of the police, the door was opened using master key. All present were in for a shock when they found Prabhakar lying dead in his bathroom.

Prabhakar’s body was shifted to MB Hospital mortuary for post mortem. Family members of Prabhakar were notified by the police.

Police also carried out thorough screening of Prabhakar’s room and found alchohol bottle amongst other things.

Surajpole SI Hemant informed that their team reached the spot on getting the information. They have got the entire area photographed and are now also awaiting post mortem report to take their investigation further.
