Man gets robbed in Sukher early morning on Monday
Man robbed by teenagers early Monday morning.
A man was robbed early Monday morning by 2 teenagers on bike. Teacher by profession, the victim claims that when he called up police to inform them of the incident, the police asked him to reach the police station to register the report.
Ramavtar Tanwar was robbed off his wallet after being beaten by the masked boys. The wallet contained 2500 rupees and some documents. The victim said that he got down from the train at Rana Pratap railway station at 5 a.m. and took an auto to reach the Pratapnagar choraha. From here he took a lift from someone and reached RTO office and then started walking towards Child Welfare Centre where he teaches the children. 2 boys who seemed to be 16 to 18 years of age came from behind on a bike. Their faces were masked by handkerchiefs. They carried a knife and a bamboo stick in hand. They dragged the man to a certain distance and after reaching a lonely spot snatched his wallet and escaped. The man said that he called up police but they asked him to reach the police station to register the report.

He said that he had called up 100 after which Abhay Command Centre informed Sukher police station. The Sukher police called him and instructed him to reach the police station. As per rules, the police is supposed to reach the site of crime and then inform the command centre about the details of crime. On the other hand the constable calling up Ramavtar Tanwar said that he had taken the details from the victim over the phone call but by the time they reached the site, the victim had left.
