Udaipur. A 50 year old was allegedly hacked to death with an axe in Rajasthan's Udaipur district following which a case of murder has been registered an investigation been launched on Wednesday morning.

The incident occured at Nathara village under Sarada police station circle in wee hours on Wednesday. The victim has been identified as Tejiram, said Additional Sp Rural Priyanka Raghuvanshi.

Priyanka told that the relatives of the deceased man has given a report to the police in which they named one Fhul Shanker Meena blaming him for the murder.

The victim Tejiram was sleeping at the courtyard of his house when the accused Fhul Shanker and his aides entered his house and allegedly attacked him with axe and hacked him to death, Priyanka added.

Hearing the screams of the victim his family members wokeup and rushed to courtyard where they found Tejiram dead lying in a pool of blood.They later informed the police.Police later booked a case under section 302 of Indian Penal Code against the accused and launched an investigation into the matter.

Superintendent of Police Udaipur Vikas Sharma said that the investigation of the matter been launched, so far it was found to be an outcome of a personal enimty between the victim and the accused Fhul Shanker Meena a resident of the same village, however the actual reason of the murder will be known once the accused will be arrested the interrogation thoroughly.
