A 35 year old man was killed last night by some unidentified people at Udaipur’s Titardi area.

Rajesh Gujjar alias Raju, an auto rickshaw driver was brutally murdered Tuesday night near the Udaipur-Salumber Highway. A Resident of Madri, Rajesh was an auto rickshaw driver and was also working as an assisting rickshaw union Udaipur.

He was allegedly killed by some heavy object which was smashed on his head, says S.H.O Hiran Magri Dinesh Singh Lodhia.

The police were informed by locals when Rajesh’s body was discovered early this morning, though the incident was supposed to have occurred at midnight. Rajesh’s body was found near his rented house at Titardi.

An FIR has been registered against the unknown assailants; the murder might have been the result of personal hostility.

Additional S.P Udaipur- Tejraj Singh and S.HO Hiran magri Rajesh Singh were present at the spot.” We are investigating and trying to trace the culprits”, says an officer.
