In what could be said, as the most sensational incident occurred today evening, an unidentified man opened fire in the air, just opposite to the Police Control Room, situated at Delhi Gate.
In what could be said, as the most sensational incident occurred today evening, an unidentified man opened fire in the air, just opposite to the Police Control Room, situated at Delhi Gate.
The incident occurred today at 6:20 in the evening in the busy market, when an unidentified man who was said to be on foot, wearing a cap and with his face wrapped in cloth, came near Bhola Sweet Shop and fired in the air before fleeing towards Dhan Mandi.
Before police could react, the man disappeared in the crowded market. All senior police officials, including Superintendent of Police Hariprasad Sharma, Additional S. P. Tejraj Singh, Dy. S. P. Dayanand Sarang rushed to the spot.
“It might be just to create terror and sensation, as no one was targeted, nor the person spoke anything with anyone. We are investigating and have already teamed up officers to catch the culprit”, said Hariprasad Sharma, SP, while talking to media personnel.
