A special team of Rajasthan Police along with Kathua police arrested Babby, the brother of former forest minister Choudhary Lal Singh, from Udaipur. He had been on run after abusing J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti during a rally.

A special team of Rajasthan Police along with Kathua police arrested Babby, the brother of former forest minister Choudhary Lal Singh, from Udaipur. He had been on run after abusing J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti during a rally.

Choudhary Rajinder Singh alias Babby was arrested from Udaipur today morning. A case was registered against Babby for abusing the J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti during a rally. Babby had been absconding ever since that case was filed.

SSP Kathua, Sridhar Patil confirmed the arrest and said, “Babby was arrested early morning from Udaipur, Rajasthan by one of the police teams constituted for the purpose”. Babby will be taken back to Kathua tomorrow.

Babby had used derogratory language against CM Mehbooba Mufti during the Dogra Swabhiman Rally in Kootah, Hiranagar on May 20.

Babby has been booked under section 509 of RPC and section 66 and 67 of IT Act.
