The infamous Mandrax case is still hot, with the District and Sessions court dismissing the petitions filed by the accused – Parmeshwar Vyas and Atul Mhatre.

Vyas had filed a petition with the Distrit and Sessions court to release the confiscated documents and equipment. Copies of the confiscated documents were requested in the petition. These documents and equipment had been confiscated by the DRI under Panchnama D 20, 21, 22, 23.

The other petition was filed by Atul Mhatre, who had requested that the confiscated laptop, mobile, iPad, CPU, Hard drive and business diary belonging to Caretech Engineering be released.

Responding to the petition filed by Vyas, Public Prosecutor Praveen Khandelwal said that the documents were sealed.
