MCP Protest against attack on election Candidate

Members and supporters of Communist Party (Marxist) demonstrated outside collectorate today and demanded action against Congress supporters for assaulting Bhim Singh Sisodia, an Independent Candidate from Communist party.

Members and supporters of Communist Party (Marxist) demonstrated outside collectorate today and demanded action against Congress supporters for assaulting Bhim Singh Sisodia, an Independent Candidate from Communist party.

The protestors also alleged negligence on the part of C.I of Dabok Police Station in dealing with the case, due to which, the accused and his aides fatally attacked Sisodia second time. Sisodia is admitted in hospital with multiple injuries.

According to supporters of Sisodia, the incident occurred on 1st Dec when Bhim Singh objected on the disorder created by few people from different party at Manderiya Polling Booth near Daroli. He was subjected to assault by Karan Singh, supporters of Congress Party and his men.

Singh lodged complaint at Dabok Police Station about the incident and all the accused including Karan Singh. Supporters of Congress Party were detained by police but soon all of them were released without any action against them.

Sisodia alleged that after being released, Karan Singh and his supporters again attacked him. Bhim Singh Sisodia is an independent candidate from Vallabhnagar constituency.

Today a large number of supporters led by Rajesh Singhvi, one of the candidates and Arun Vyas demonstrated outside collectorate and also blocked the road.

They demanded action against the assaulter as well as C.I of Dabok Police Station for taking no action against the accused.

UPDATE: 5 accused Karan Singh, Rooplal, Pushkar Lal, Shankarlal and Arjun involved in the assault are arrested and sent on remand
